Sebaceous hyperplasia forms when oil glands in the dermis enlarge and proliferate.

Many treatments simply shave off what’s visible with a laser. It may look better at first—but the gland underneath is still there, so the bump often returns.

Surface removal + root-cause destruction = lower chance of recurrence.
We aim to treat both the symptom and the source in one plan.

To do this, we combine two devices:

1) Secret/Agnes RF (Insulated, single-pin RF needle)

• Delivers focused radiofrequency heat directly into the oil gland to selectively destroy it.

• The insulated needle protects the epidermis and surrounding skin while targeting only the gland.

• This is the core step for root-cause control.

2) Erbium:YAG laser (Er:YAG)

• Enables very precise, shallow resurfacing to remove the raised surface lesion.

• Less thermal damage than CO₂, so faster healing with a lower scar risk.

• When needed, CO₂ may be added to address deeper components.

Why this isn’t the same as “simple removal”

• CO₂ alone (shave only): removes the surface → gland remains → likely to recur

What Sebaceous Hyperplasia Looks Like

• Small, round, dome-shaped bumps on the forehead, cheeks, or around the nose
