New Skin Laser for Raised Hypertrophic Scars (Post-Burn, Surgery, Acne)
A treatment that breaks down excessively proliferated collagen tissue and loosens the scar structure.
Options
Scars don’t improve just because you “fire a laser.”
Our Saesal Laser is a detail-driven, scar-by-scar treatment that reflects KKEUT Clinic’s core philosophy.
1) CO₂ vs. Er:YAG — chosen per area
Broad, firm scars: stronger stimulation with CO₂
Thin, sensitive zones: finer control with Er:YAG
The physician selects the platform case by case based on tissue characteristics.
2) Custom pinhole spacing & diameter
Standard spacing is ~1–2 mm
Adjusted to wider (≥3 mm) or denser grids as needed
We tailor spacing, diameter, and depth to the scar’s location, shape, and thickness.
3) Depth design to the upper vs. lower dermis
Decide superficial vs. deeper passes
Target upper dermis only or go to the lower collagen layer when indicated
These ranges are individually set under the physician’s judgment—this level of nuance requires real know-how.
4) Not a “machine job” — planned and performed by the physician
Direct consult → direct procedure
Map the exact pinhole positions and spacing per lesion
Tune energy and pulse to the patient’s skin reactivity
We also monitor recovery and set the next session & interval responsibly.
The Saesal (pinhole) technique creates micro-holes at ~1–3 mm intervals within the raised scar using CO₂ or Er:YAG.
This releases overgrown collagen bundles, loosens the scar architecture, and helps the lesion settle down naturally.
Q&A
What type of scars is this effective for?
New Skin Laser is especially effective for raised scars. Please visit us for a consultation where we can examine your scar and provide detailed advice.
What machines are used?
We use CO2 and Er:YAG lasers. The director assesses the characteristics of each area and customizes the treatment to meet your needs.
Are there any precautions?
Scabs may form after the procedure; please allow them to fall off naturally and do not pick them. Avoid using products that irritate the skin, such as scrubs or exfoliants. It is essential to use sunscreen when going outdoors.
