Sono (Hydration) Therapy — What Makes KKEUT Clinic Different

  1. Two ampoules, always customized—no “hyaluronic only” shortcuts
  2. We don’t reach for hyaluronic acid alone just because skin feels dry. We always select two ampoules that fit your current skin condition and deliver them deep into the dermis with ultrasound for better absorption and results.

  3. Lock-in finish with a Jaungo modeling mask
  4. After sonophoresis, we always finish with a Jaungo herbal modeling mask to support barrier repair, calming, and moisture retention, extending the benefits.

  5. Speed, pressure, and technique adapt to your skin
  6. Handling speed is adjusted for pores, redness, or inner dryness; pressure varies by facial thickness. Our practitioners follow a standardized manual that encodes expert touch.

  7. Ampoules are layered (≥2 passes per formula); aloe gel is replenished generously
  8. We never dilute to “save product.” Dosing is based on what can actually penetrate, not a token amount. Aloe gel is re-applied by area so ultrasound energy transfers without loss.

  9. High-density care by design
  10. With roughly one-third the booking density of typical clinics, one provider oversees consult → treatment → aftercare, adjusting in real time to your skin’s reactions.

  11. Appointment time = start time; 5% off per 10 minutes of delay
  12. We avoid overbooking to eliminate waiting. If we run ≥10 minutes late after your reservation time, we honor 5% per 10 minutes.

Why KKEUT’s Sono (Hydration) Therapy Is Different

1) Ampoule selection matched to your skin + maximized penetration

We assess your skin, then combine two from hydrating / brightening / calming / regenerative ampoules.

Example: When dryness and redness coexist, we pair a hyaluronic-based hydrator with an azulene-based calming ampoule. The synergy improves absorption and effect together.

Delivery is via ultrasound (sono) into the dermis, briefly loosening the barrier so actives pass beyond the surface for true inner hydration and functional recovery—not just a surface fix.

2) Absorption “fixed” with a Jaungo modeling mask

We always apply a Jaungo modeling pack afterward to help retain the sonically delivered actives.

Jaungo—based on traditional herbs such as Lithospermum, Glycyrrhiza, Arnebia, Astragalus—supports regeneration, barrier strength, and anti-inflammation. With a modeling mask, it prevents water loss, stabilizes skin temperature, and extends the effect.

Not a routine mask—this is a therapeutic lock-in finish.

3) Technique tailored by speed/pressure and skin status

Sono isn’t just “touching skin with ultrasound.” We adjust:

  • Speed: slower for deep dehydration; faster on oily or pore-congested areas to enhance penetration.

  • Pressure: modulated by region (thin zygoma vs. thicker jawline).
  • Our protocol is manualized so personalization is consistent—not left solely to intuition.

4) Exact dosing of ampoules and aloe gel

Insufficient product means friction and poor ultrasound coupling. We layer each of the two ampoules at least twice so each active truly enters. Aloe gel is reapplied by zone for uninterrupted glide and energy transfer. No dilution—precise, effective dosing is the rule.

5) High-density care enabled by our clinic model

We limit daily volume and keep bookings light so we can watch reactions in real time and adjust mode, intensity, and handling pattern. This environment makes dense, attentive care possible.

6) Start on time—because your time matters

If we’re ≥10 minutes past your slot, we apply 5% off per 10 minutes—a policy that reflects our commitment to not overbook and to maintain care density for each person.

How Sono (Hydration) Therapy Works

  1. Ultrasound temporarily “opens” the barrier (sonophoresis)
  2. At 1–3 MHz, micro-vibrations loosen intercellular lipids so high-molecular actives (e.g., hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, peptides) can pass into the dermis.

  3. Mild thermal effect boosts uptake
  4. Ultrasound produces slight frictional heat (~1–3°C), increasing perfusion and cell metabolism so actives penetrate better and persist longer.

  5. Builds a structure that holds water—not just adds it
  6. True hydration requires a dermal matrix that retains water: collagen, hyaluronic acid, and GAGs. Gentle mechanical signaling can encourage fibroblast activity and ECM remodeling, restoring the infrastructure that keeps moisture in.

Who Benefits Most

  1. Oily on the surface but tight inside (dehydrated-oily skin)
  2. If makeup lifts and skin feels tight, dermal water storage is low. Sono drives hyaluronic deeper for inner hydration.

  3. Dry despite regular moisturizers
  4. When barrier is compromised or pathways are blocked, creams sit on top. Ultrasound briefly opens routes so ampoules truly absorb.

  5. Sensitive after lasers/peels
  6. We pair calming + regenerative ampoules and deliver them to the dermis to improve recovery speed and ease heat/redness.

  7. Makeup won’t set / poor base adherence
  8. Texture and inner hydration affect adherence. A session the day before an important event can make skin feel plumper and foundation grip better.

  9. Seasonal swings in skin condition
  10. Regular sono helps maintain stability across seasonal shifts (monsoon/winter/transition periods).

  11. Easily flushed or tight, reactive skin
  12. Calming ampoules + micro-stimulation help settle irritated, sensitive skin faster.

Sono vs. LDM vs. Iontophoresis (Brightening)

Sono (Ultrasound) — drives high-molecular hydrators into the dermis

  • How it works: 1–3 MHz vibration loosens lipid paths so large, water-binding molecules reach the dermis.

  • Best with: Hyaluronic acid, EGF, peptides, azulene and other high-molecular, water-soluble ampoules.

  • Focus: Water retention & barrier repair

  • Indications: Inner dryness, tightness, flaking, barrier compromise; post-procedure calming/hydration

Iontophoresis — specializes in ionic, low-molecular brighteners

  • How it works: Direct current (DC) pushes charged actives via electro-repulsion.

  • Best with: Vitamin C, arbutin, tranexamic acid, glutathione, etc.

  • Focus: Pigment/brightening

  • Indications: Melasma, dyschromia, dull tone; boosts brightening when paired with laser toning

LDM (Local Dynamic Micro-massage) — inflammation control & tissue recovery

  • How it works: Rapid frequency switching per second stabilizes fibroblasts and down-regulates inflammatory mediators (MMPs, TNF-α, etc.).

  • Best with: Effect comes from tissue response; pairs well with calming/regenerative ampoules.

  • Focus: Anti-inflammatory / regeneration / barrier strength

  • Indications: Acne, atopy, sensitive skin, inner dryness; eases post-laser heat and redness
